Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Orlando, FL

Overview We are seeking a dedicated a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, friendly, and able to communicate well with patients in both English and Spanish. This position is a great opportunity to work with experienced dentists in a busy, patient-centered dental office. The right candidate should be comfortable assisting during dental procedures, preparing rooms, maintaining infection control, and helping patients feel welcomed and cared for. There is also opportunity for growth within the practice. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Perform chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance patient comfort and efficiency. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage medical records in compliance with infection control standards. Conduct vital signs assessments and assist in medical imaging as required. Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and equipped with necessary instruments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the front desk team to manage patient flow and appointments run smoothly. Uphold aseptic techniques and maintain a sterile environment throughout the clinic. Qualifications Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) (Required) Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required) Previous dental assisting experience (Preferred) X-ray certification (Required) Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Good computer and data entry skills Strong communication and customer service skills Professional, dependable, and willing to learn Able to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment If you are excited to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our practice, we invite you to apply.
