Treatment Coordinator / Hygiene Coordinator

Beverly Hills Dentistry is looking for an experienced, driven Treatment Coordinator / Hygiene Coordinator to help elevate and grow our hygiene department while supporting treatment coordination throughout the practice.

This is not a traditional front-desk or scheduling position.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of dental treatment coordination experience who is completely confident in their understanding of dental procedures, treatment plan presentation, financial options, and patient follow-up.

The right person will work closely with our three hygienists, doctors, and treatment coordination team to ensure patients fully understand their recommended care, treatment does not fall through the cracks, and opportunities to better serve our patients are proactively identified and followed through.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Working closely with our three hygienists to help elevate and grow the hygiene department

• Proactively identifying treatment opportunities and ensuring patients understand the care being recommended

• Assisting with hygiene treatment plan presentations and helping patients understand the value and importance of their recommended care

• Presenting restorative and other treatment diagnosed through the hygiene department

• Supporting our primary Treatment Coordinator with treatment presentations when needed

• Confidently discussing dental procedures, treatment sequencing, fees, insurance benefits, and available financial options

• Following up consistently with patients who have unscheduled, pending, or incomplete treatment

• Tracking open treatment plans and taking ownership of moving patients toward the next step

• Understanding the production needs and goals of the practice and proactively helping the team achieve them

• Helping maintain productive hygiene and doctor schedules through strong communication, follow-up, and attention to opportunity

• Creating strong handoffs between our hygienists, doctors, Treatment Coordinator, and patients

• Building trust with patients and helping them feel informed and confident moving forward with the care they need

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of dental treatment coordination experience

• Strong understanding of dental procedures and treatment sequencing

• Completely confident presenting treatment and discussing financial commitments with patients

• Strong understanding of dental insurance benefits and patient financing options

• Proven ability to follow up with patients and help move treatment forward

• Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, and through written communication

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple treatment plans and follow-up opportunities
