Dental Assistant – Pediatric Dental Office

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our busy pediatric dental practice. If you enjoy working with children, creating positive dental experiences, and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Take high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Help create a fun, calm, and welcoming environment for children and their families.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Accurately document patient information and assist with charting.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the office.

Qualifications

• Current Dental X-Ray Certification (required).
• Minimum of one (1) year of dental assisting experience (required).
• Experience working in a pediatric dental office is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, patient, and compassionate with children of all ages.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.
