Key Responsibilities Assist dentists during dental procedures, including preparation and follow-up. Sterilize and maintain instruments, equipment, and exam rooms. Take and develop dental X-rays. Record patient information and update dental records. Prepare patients for treatments and explain procedures. Provide post-operative instructions as prescribed by the dentist. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Manage dental supplies and inventory. Schedule patient appointments and manage dental office tasks as needed.
