Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Prairie Kids Dental - West Jefferson, OH

Current opening for a board registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team at Prairie Kids Dental! We are just west of Hilliard and Grove City, in the Village of West Jefferson. Professional growth opportunities Responsibilities include: - taking digital x-rays and using electronic records - Assist the dentist during dental procedures and surgeries - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and record patient medical and dental history - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience - Proficiency in using dental software systems (Open Dental or Denticon) - Strong infection control practices and knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and families - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
