Orthodontic Assistant Rockwall Family Dental | Rockwall, TX Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience Rockwall Family Dental is growing our orthodontic department and looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who is great with people, confident clinically, and ready to be part of a modern, fast-growing private practice. We are not looking for someone who just wants to “help out” with ortho occasionally. We want someone who enjoys orthodontics, is comfortable chairside, and can help create an excellent experience for both teen and adult patients. You should be personable, polished, dependable, and able to make patients feel comfortable while keeping appointments moving efficiently. What You’ll Be Doing Assisting with braces and clear aligner appointments Helping with bracket bonding and braces placement Taking intraoral scans, photos, and orthodontic records Placing clear-aligner attachments Assisting with wire changes, debonds, retainer delivery, and follow-up visits Keeping rooms stocked, organized, clean, and ready for patients Helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and excited about treatment What We’re Looking For Friendly, confident, and naturally good with people Strong communication skills with both teens and adults Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently Reliable, positive, and able to take ownership of your role Comfortable in a fast-paced, patient-focused office Excited to grow with a practice that is expanding its orthodontic services Required Orthodontic Experience This is not a train-from-scratch orthodontic role. Applicants must already have hands-on experience with: Bracket bonding / assisting with braces placement Intraoral scanners and digital orthodontic records Clear-aligner attachments Orthodontic photos and records General braces and clear-aligner appointment flow Please do not apply if you only have general dental assisting experience and have not worked hands-on with braces or clear aligners.
