Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care from start to finish for our patients, and we are looking for an experienced dental assistant to join us. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dental assistant to support our prosthodontics team. As a dental assistant in our office, you will be responsible for assisting in all phases of prosthodontic treatment, including initial consultations, complex restorative procedures, implant placing and restoring, and follow-up care. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient, organized, and capable of handling detailed and multi-step procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the prosthodontist in complex procedures such as crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and full-mouth reconstructions -Ordering and organizing case necessities - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, materials, and equipment - Take high-quality digital X-rays and impressions - Maintain patient records and assist with treatment planning - Educate patients on pre and post-operative care - Manage patient comfort throughout the procedures - Ensure a smooth flow of the treatment process, assisting with both clinical and administrative tasks - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment Qualifications: - Proven experience as a dental assistant in a prosthodontics office - Knowledge of prosthodontic procedures and dental terminology - Experience with digital radiography and dental software (dentrix- not a must) - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex cases - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Certification in dental assisting (CDA or equivalent) preferred Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Dental work covered for employee - 401(k) with 3% match - Profit sharing after the first year - Paid time off - Paid holidays - Medical insurance To Apply: If you are an experienced dental assistant looking to join a dynamic and caring team in a well-established prosthodontic practice, we encourage you to apply.
