Responsibilities
Assist dentist during various procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, periodontontics
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed
take x-rays dexis and operate 3D scanners as needed
Record vital signs, medical history , and other relevant patient information accurately.
Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including four handed dentistry techniques
Educate patients on dental terminology, post-treatment care, and preventive practices.
Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintaining according to infection control standards
Skills
Proficiency with EMR systems including Dentrix and Dexis
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control procedures
Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
Avility to work efficiently in a collabortive team environment
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Experience with digital dentistry and modern dental technology is a plus
