Part-Time Dental Assistant / Sterile Technician Location: Lake Jackson, TX Job Type: Part-Time About Us We are a fast-paced, patient-focused dental office looking for a dependable, motivated team player to join our growing practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, keeping the clinical area running smoothly, and stepping in to assist wherever needed. Position Overview This role will primarily be responsible for managing the sterilization area and ensuring operatories are clean, stocked, and ready for patients. You will also serve as a backup chairside assistant when needed to help keep the schedule running efficiently. Responsibilities Manage all instrument sterilization and infection control protocols Break down, clean, and set up treatment rooms between patients Keep operatories fully stocked and organized Monitor and maintain sterilization logs and equipment Assist dentists and hygienists chairside as needed Help with opening and closing clinical duties Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Work as a team to provide an exceptional patient experience Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license preferred (or eligible if applicable) Knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards Strong organizational and multitasking skills Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Reliable, punctual, and a team player What We’re Looking For We value someone who takes pride in keeping our clinical area running efficiently.
