Job Description We have an excellent entry-level position for a bilingual Dental Assistant who would like to transition into the Orthodontics field. This is a full-time position that requires working 4 days per week, no weekends included. You will begin your training in our records, reception, lab, and sterilization areas for a few weeks. Once you are used to our office systems and technology, you will move on to training to practice as an orthodontic clinical assistant. Our team is small, and we work in a fast-paced environment. We are privately owned, with one location and one orthodontist. During non-patient time, we are responsible for office cleaning, 3D printing, fabricating retainers, and assisting with administrative work. Prior orthodontic experience is beneficial but not mandatory for the position. Qualifications Applicants must be licensed Dental Assistant in the state of Florida with a Dental Radiology/X-ray Certification. Excellent communication skills are essential. Applicant should be fluent in English and Spanish. Experience in Orthodontics is an advantage, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Candidates should be comfortable with technological advancements and open to learning our systems, including digital photography, digital impressions, 3D printing, computer use, and dental software. Responsibilities Working as a team player at all times, treating patients with outmost care and respect. Share all office work and duties as a team member. Perform general duties, as well as other office or clinical duties as required. Adhere to the Office Employee Manual at all times. See patients on time and finish procedures on time. Maintain a positive attitude while in the office at all times. Be comfortable with marketing the practice to help with the growth of new patients.
