Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our state of the art dental practice. As a key member of our dental practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our dentists and hygienists. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages. Two full time openings are available. Duties: - Assist dentists with various procedures, including dental fillings, extractions, and more. - Prepare and maintain the operatory area, including setting up instruments, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. - Take dental X-rays, using the latest technology, including digital X-rays and 3D scanners. - Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. - Provide support during medical imaging procedures, including preparing patients for scans and ensuring images are properly stored and documented. - Maintain a clean and organized office environment, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA regulations. - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Dental Assistant certification or training preferred. - Experience in a general dentistry practice, with a focus on patient care and assisting with various procedures. - Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures and techniques. - Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure. - Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and support to the dental team.
