Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Leawood, KS
Dental experience required to apply. We ask for a minimum of one year experience in a dental office. Office hours are Monday & Tuesdays 7AM-3PM, Wednesdays 7AM-1PM, and Thursdays 7AM-4PM with a 1 hour lunch. Thursdays hours will be changing to 7AM-3PM effective Jan 1, 2027. We are looking to find a wonderful dental assistant to join our great team! We are a privately owned, solo doctor practice seeking a team oriented dental assistant to care for our patients the way they would care for a family member. We are excited to work with and grow a wonderful assistant. We are a small team who take pride in providing quality care and building relationships with our patients. Duties Include - Assist dentist in patient care including restorations, crown & bridge, and oral surgery - Take digital dental x-rays using a Nomad unit - Educate patients on oral conditions and treatment options - Maintain accurate and detailed electronic patient records using Open Dental - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow Benefits include: Medical reimbursement, PTO and paid holidays, CE stipend Please note that only qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.
