Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Westlake, OH
Overview: DiMassa Endodontics is a new endodontic practice in Westlake Ohio. We are in search of a dental assistant. You will assist Dr. DiMassa during endodontic procedures, on-the-job training, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize dental instruments, capture digital radiographs, capture CBCT scans, perform patient assessments, maintain patient records using TDO endodontic software, follow infection control protocols, assist with administrative tasks, and billing processes. This endodontic practice is a brand-new office with the most up-to-date equipment and technology. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist the dentist during procedures as needed - Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) - Educate patients on postoperative care - Maintain accurate patient records Skills: Required or Nice-to-Have Skills: - Proficiency in medical terminology - Experience in dental assisting - Familiarity with TDO software - Understanding of human anatomy - Ability to perform medical imaging tasks - Competence in medical documentation - Exposure to endodontic procedures Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, enhance your skills, and contribute to providing top-notch dental care.
