Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Full-Time Join a growing, patient-focused dental team where your skills and experience can make a real difference every day. Our multi-specialty practice is looking for an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to help deliver exceptional care while working alongside a supportive, collaborative team. We offer General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Pediatric Sedation services in a modern, fully digital and paperless office designed to help our team work efficiently and focus on patient care. We are seeking a full-time EFDA who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and enjoys working in a positive, fast-paced environment. Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM Rotating Fridays: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM No nights or weekends Key Responsibilities: Assist dentists during a variety of restorative and general dental procedures Perform expanded functions as permitted by state regulations and certification Place and contour restorative materials Fabricate and adjust temporary restorations Take dental radiographs Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical efficiency Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Document patient treatment accurately Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care Work collaboratively with dentists and team members to provide outstanding patient care What We're Looking For: Current Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification Current radiology certification (if required) Dental assisting experience preferred Positive, professional attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate approach to patient care Excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, organized, and team-oriented Why You'll Love Working Here: Competitive pay based on experience Paid lunch hour Employee bonus program Annual performance reviews Uniform allowance Continuing Education reimbursement License and certification renewal reimbursement Employer-paid clearances Employer-paid group life insurance policy Excellent benefits package Supportive, team-oriented work environment No nights or weekends!
