Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Keene, NH
Elm City Dental Care is looking for a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You'll work alongside an experienced team using modern technology, including CEREC same-day crowns, digital radiography, and digital intraoral scanning. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms before patient appointments Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Pass instruments and maintain an efficient clinical workflow Take high-quality digital dental radiographs (training provided if needed) Assist with digital impressions and intraoral scanning Clean, sterilize, and organize instruments following OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines Set up and break down operatories between patients Update patient records and medical histories in our practice management software Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions Maintain inventory and keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked Help create an exceptional patient experience from the moment patients arrive until they leave Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED Friendly, dependable, and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn new skills and accept coaching Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Preferred (Not Required) Previous dental assisting experience Dental Assisting Certificate or completion of a dental assisting program Dental radiography certification (or ability to obtain one) Experience working in healthcare, customer service, or another patient-facing role Familiarity with dental software (Curve experience is a plus) No prior dental experience?
