Elm City Dental Care is seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant who is passionate about exceptional patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, modern dental practice. You'll work alongside an experienced dentist using advanced digital technology, including CEREC same-day crowns, digital radiography, and intraoral scanning. Responsibilities Provide exceptional chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques Place, contour, finish, and polish direct restorations within the scope of your EFDA license Assist with restorative, cosmetic, crown and bridge, implant, endodontic, and oral surgery procedures Capture high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral scans Prepare treatment rooms and maintain efficient clinical workflow Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and CDC infection control standards Update medical histories and accurately document treatment in practice management software Educate patients regarding treatment recommendations, oral hygiene, and post-operative instructions Support same-day CEREC restorative procedures Maintain inventory and ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized Help create an exceptional patient experience from start to finish Qualifications Current New Hampshire Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification Current radiography certification Previous experience in general dentistry preferred Strong knowledge of restorative procedures, dental materials, and infection control protocols Experience with digital radiography and intraoral scanners Familiarity with dental software (Curve experience is a plus but not required) Excellent communication and organizational skills Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive, privately owned practice with a collaborative culture Opportunities to fully utilize your EFDA license Continuing education and professional development State-of-the-art digital technology, including CEREC, CBCT, and intraoral scanning Consistent schedule with an emphasis on work-life balance A team that values kindness, professionalism, and excellent patient care We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and wants to be part of a practice that values quality over production quotas.
