Dental Assistant for Perio Office - Advanced Implant & Periodontics - Frederick, MD

A state-of-the-art periodontal practice is seeking a dynamic, motivated, detail-oriented, conscientious, and reliable Periodontal/Dental Surgical Assistant to join our growing team! X-ray certification is preferred . The ability to take clear digital radiographs and experience in surgical assisting are preferred. Offer competitive compensation. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: · Facilitate providers with all patient visits and procedures. · Room set up for providers. · Review pre and post-surgical instruction, consent forms, medications, what to expect for surgical procedures, etc. · Sterilization, preparation, and maintenance of instruments, equipment, and supplies. · Take impressions for surgical guide fabrication. · Take X-Rays & CBCT scans as directed. · Administrative duties including, answering incoming phone calls, scanning & shredding of documents, scheduling appointments, medical supply inventory, and ordering.
