Position Overview We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant who is reliable, compassionate, organized, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, and is willing to assist with both general and cosmetic dental procedures. Whether you're a recent graduate looking to build your career or an experienced assistant seeking a supportive office, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Assist the doctor chairside during general, cosmetic, and restorative procedures Prepare treatment rooms before and after each patient Take high-quality digital dental radiographs (X-rays) Assist with routine hygiene procedures and prophies when appropriate Assist with fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, implant procedures, dentures, Invisalign, and other major dental procedures Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and CDC infection control standards Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions Ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized Provide a warm, professional experience for every patient Qualifications Dental Assistant certification or completion of a Dental Assisting program Recent graduates are encouraged to apply Maryland Dental Radiation Health & Safety Certification (or ability to obtain if required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude with a willingness to learn Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality Reliable transportation What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Shows up on time and is dependable Has a positive, team-oriented attitude Treats every patient with kindness and professionalism Is eager to learn new skills and grow professionally Wants to be part of building an exceptional dental practice from the ground up Benefits Full-time position Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Modern technology and equipment Uniform Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: On-the-job training Uniform allowance Application Question(s): Are you available to work full-time Monday through Friday?
