Permanent Dental Assistant Job in A Smile Spa

Duties Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for various dental procedures. Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, including chairside support and four-handed dentistry techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, including documenting medical history, vital signs, and treatment notes. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote healthy habits. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and coordinating with the dental reception team. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry or pediatric dentistry practices. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding is essential for accurate documentation. Familiarity with EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft enhances efficiency in managing patient records. Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, anatomy, and medical imaging ensures safe and effective care delivery. Experience with advanced dental technology such as 3D scanners is a plus. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times. Previous role involving chairside assisting, endodontics, prosthodontics, or pediatric dentistry will be advantageous for this position.
