Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming appointments and following up with patients. Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining inventory of supplies and managing patient files. Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care in various specialties, including pediatrics, general dentistry, prosthodontics, and more. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment is essential. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and medical coding is a plus. Experience with medical imaging techniques, including the use of 3D scanners, is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory.
