Experienced Dental Assistant – One Doctor Practice - SMILE DENTAL CARE - Pompano Beach, FL

Smile Dental Care is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing private practice. This is a unique opportunity to become the sole dental assistant in our one-doctor office, working directly alongside the doctor to provide exceptional patient care and help keep the clinical side of the practice running efficiently. Responsibilities Serve as the doctor's primary chairside assistant during all clinical procedures. Prepare and break down treatment rooms before and after each appointment. Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, impressions, and digital scans using the iTero scanner . Fabricate high-quality temporary crowns. Pour study models and manage all incoming and outgoing lab cases. Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols according to OSHA and CDC guidelines. Enter accurate clinical notes using Dentrix . Monitor clinical inventory and assist with ordering supplies. Educate patients on treatment plans and post-operative instructions. Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently while providing every patient with a positive, welcoming experience. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience in general dentistry. Comfortable working independently as the only dental assistant in a one-doctor practice. Dentrix experience is required. Experience using the iTero scanner is required. Must be proficient in fabricating temporary crowns. Current Florida X-Ray Certification and CPR certification. (Must provide copies) Experience assisting with restorative dentistry, crown and bridge, implants, extractions, and Invisalign is preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
