Work Schedule Full-Time Position Four 10-hour shifts per week Monday through Thursday Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM No Friday, evening, or weekend shifts Enjoy a consistent schedule and a three-day weekend every week. What You'll Be Doing As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting both providers and patients throughout the treatment process. Responsibilities include: Assist dentists during clinical procedures using four-handed dental techniques Set up treatment rooms and prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for patient care Take dental radiographs in accordance with safety standards and regulations Maintain sterilization procedures and infection prevention protocols Provide patients with oral health education and post-treatment care instructions Record patient information accurately within Dentrix practice management software Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day Support administrative and front office functions when needed Foster a professional, welcoming, and team-oriented atmosphere for patients and coworkers What We're Looking For We welcome candidates who are eager to contribute to a collaborative dental team and committed to providing excellent patient care. Preferred qualifications: Prior dental assisting experience is beneficial but not required Understanding of dental terminology, radiography, and infection control practices Familiarity with medical terminology is helpful Experience working in pediatric dentistry and/or endodontics is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail Desire to learn, grow, and expand professional skills Training & Professional Growth Community Dental is committed to helping team members advance their careers.
