Job Summary SmileCraft Orthodontics is a modern, patient-centered orthodontic practice serving the Columbia and greater DMV community. We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. We are building a practice known not only for exceptional orthodontic care, but also for creating an outstanding patient experience from the moment someone walks through our doors. The ideal candidate is warm, professional, organized, and genuinely enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families. Responsibilities include assisting the orthodontist during clinical procedures, taking digital scans and photographs, preparing and turning over treatment areas, sterilizing instruments, maintaining accurate patient records, providing patients with instructions and education, supporting efficient patient flow, and helping create a welcoming and positive experience for every patient. We are looking for someone who: Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Is dependable, punctual, and professional Pays close attention to detail Works well in a team environment Is comfortable learning and using modern orthodontic technology Brings positive energy and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care Is willing to grow with a developing practice and contribute to a strong team culture Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience is preferred. Experience with digital scanning, orthodontic photography, braces, aligners, and orthodontic clinical procedures is a plus.
