Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Mesa, AZ
VIBE Dental is seeking an experienced, dependable Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing private dental practice in Mesa, Arizona.
We are looking for someone who is confident, organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced general dentistry environment. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who takes initiative and helps create an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Placing and finishing composite restorations
- Taking high-quality digital X-rays
- Assisting with crowns, bridges, endodontics, oral surgery, implants, and general procedures
- Taking impressions and digital scans
- Fabricating temporary crowns
- Sterilization and operatory setup
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes
- Supporting efficient patient flow and same-day treatment
- Educating patients and helping them feel comfortable
- Working closely with doctors and the clinical team
Preferred qualifications:
- Arizona EFDA certification
- Dental assisting experience
- Dentrix experience preferred
- CEREC, iTero, implant, oral surgery, or endodontic experience is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and positive
- Available for some weekend shifts
