Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Rushville, IN
The dental assistant performs a variety of tasks, which greatly increases the efficiency of the dentist in the delivery of comprehensive quality oral health care. These tasks include but are not limited to: * Assisting the dentist in a variety of treatment procedures * Creating and promoting a comfortable, safe and clean environment; * Prepare patients for treatment and make them as comfortable as possible * Communicating effectively with patients, co-workers and management; * Maintaining equipment and inventory * Cleaning, packaging and sterilizing instruments * Quality x-rays * Complying with national and statewide regulations as mandated by the Indiana State Dept, of Health, OSHA, and Universal Precautions.
