Dental Hygienist - Cambridge Smiles - Cambridge, MA

We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! We are a smaller office with 2 dentists and 5 chairs that treats mostly adults. We focus on quality patient care - WE ARE NOT A FACTORY! I may be biased, but we have a great team here that helps each other out and gets along! Compensation: $55 - $63 hourly Responsibilities: Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily Qualifications: Excellent communication and customer service skills Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located Certified to perform CPR Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time About Company We are a general dentistry office, treating patients ages 8 and up.
