Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, where your expertise will help create confident smiles and improve patientsâ oral health. In this energized role, you will support orthodontists by providing exceptional chairside assistance, managing patient care, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. We are seeking an experienced, registered Orthodontic Assistant who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while providing an outstanding patient experience. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during all clinical procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment. Take digital radiographs, photographs, and intraoral scans. Place and remove orthodontic appliances as permitted by state regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and functioning properly. Collaborate with the front desk and clinical team to provide seamless patient care. Help maintain an efficient daily schedule while ensuring every patient feels welcomed and valued. Qualifications Registered Orthodontic Assistant (or Registered Dental Assistant with orthodontic experience, as required by state regulations). Prior orthodontic experience preferred. Reliable transportation and the ability to commute consistently to our office. Current CPR certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable with digital technology, including scanners and practice management software. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
