Job Overview Join our dynamic multi specialty fee for service practice as a Dental Hygienist, where you will play a vital role in promoting optimal oral health and providing exceptional patient care. In this energetic position, you will deliver preventive dental services, educate patients on oral hygiene practices, and support the overall functioning of our dental practice. Schedule Looking for Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Take dental radiographs, PANs, and CBCTs to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary choices, and preventive care strategies. Perform whitening. Maintain accurate medical documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, ensuring all patient information is current and compliant with privacy regulations. Report patient conditions accurately to the dental team and document any abnormalities or concerns observed during examinations. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, including sterilization of instruments and manual handling procedures. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license or certification in accordance with local regulations. Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably with exposure to diagnostic radiology and surgical procedures. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental anatomy, and infection control standards. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on oral health practices. Familiarity with EMR/EHR management systems for accurate medical documentation.
