Dental Assistant / Receptionist Overview E Plant Dental Group is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and friendly Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing team. A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a dental office is required. We are looking for someone who is confident in both chairside assisting and front desk responsibilities , enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, and is committed to building a long-term career with our practice. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to provide excellent patient care while helping create a positive experience for every patient. Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish or Chinese) are highly preferred. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and treatment rooms according to infection control standards Take digital dental X-rays and assist with digital scanning and 3D imaging Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Welcome patients, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm upcoming visits Verify dental insurance benefits and assist with front desk administrative duties Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions Help patients feel comfortable by providing friendly and compassionate care Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical and front office environment Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations QualificationsRequired At least 1 year of experience working in a dental office as a Dental Assistant Ability to perform both clinical assisting and front desk/reception duties Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and chairside assisting Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Professional, dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish or Chinese Experience with OpenDental or other dental practice management software Experience in prosthodontics, implant dentistry, restorative dentistry, or pediatric dentistry Experience with digital scanners and modern dental technology What We're Looking For We are looking for a positive, hardworking team member who is eager to grow with our practice.
