Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic Front Office Team Member - Children's Dentistry of Manatee - Lakewood Ranch, FL

We are a privately owned Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic practice looking to add a member to our already exceptional front office team. We pride ourselves in not only providing top of the line pediatric dental and orthodontic care but also the highest standard of customer service. This position is for someone with high energy, drive and great communication skills as you will be the "face" of our practice. We are a three location practice located in Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and North River (Parrish/Palmetto) We are a paperless office utilizing Open Dental and Cloud9 practice management softwares. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Check in Check out Answering phones on a multiple line system Verifying Insurance benefits for both pediatric dentistry as well as orthodontics Accounts Receivable Managing a team of 3-4 Training and supporting front office team Scheduling appointments Collecting payment for dental services provided Managing the patient recall system Typing letters to communicate with other medical/dental offices Filing insurance claims Creating new patient electronic charts Helping with Orthodontic consultations Previous dental experience is beneficial but not required. Skills preferred: Experience in dental billing and/or medical or dental office setting experience is a strong plus. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask. Proficient computer skills Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability and drive to work independently. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required. High School graduate or equivalent.
