Part-Time Dental Assistant Join a Patient-Centered, Airway-Focused Practice in Park Ridge Beyond Smiles of Park Ridge is looking for a warm, dependable, and motivated Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our privately owned, relationship-based dental practice. Responsibilities: Provide chairside assistance during general, restorative, cosmetic, orthodontic, and airway-focused procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are ready for each patient. Assist with digital radiographs, photographs, intraoral scanning, CBCT imaging, and other clinical records based on training and experience. Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control procedures. Turn over treatment rooms efficiently and keep clinical areas clean and organized. Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visits. Support laboratory case tracking, supply organization, and inventory management. Communicate clearly with doctors, hygienists, administrative team members, and patients. Assist the team with end-of-day clinical responsibilities. We Are Looking for Someone Who: Is warm, positive, dependable, and team-oriented. Provides gentle and compassionate patient care. Is organized, attentive to detail, and able to manage a busy clinical environment. Communicates confidently and professionally. Takes initiative and is willing to help wherever needed. Is comfortable learning new technology and clinical concepts. Values accountability, teamwork, and exceptional patient experiences. Dental assisting experience is appreciated, but we are also open to meeting an enthusiastic candidate who is eager to learn and become part of a supportive team. Schedule: This is a part-time position working two to three days per week . Available days and hours include: Monday: approximately 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Tuesday: approximately 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Thursday: approximately 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The daily start time is adjustable and can be discussed based on the candidate’s availability and the needs of the practice. Compensation: Starting compensation is $18–$20 per hour , based on experience and qualifications, plus eligibility for our monthly team bonus program.
