Job Overview We are looking for a caring and highly-motivated individual with a background in the dental field. This position requires strong communication skills both with team members and with patients. The expectation with this position is both administrative and clinical. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of procedures ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and maintaining aseptic techniques in accordance with infection prevention management policies. Take and develop dental x-rays and intraoral scans. Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix. Support patient care by managing appointment schedules through patient management software, greeting patients warmly, and addressing their questions professionally. Managing payments both from patients and dental benefit companies. Working well in a team-centric environment; staying tuned in and anticipating needs and executing on duties accordingly. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong command and comfort using computer for daily tasks. Strong command and comfort using dental terminology. Willingness and eagerness to learn new skills and grow within position. Dental X-Ray license/certification. BLS-CPR Certification. Infection Control Certification.
