Dental Assistant entry level or X-ray licensed for Pediatric Practice - NK dental LLC - Damascus, MD

Growing pediatric practice is looking for a Entry level or Maryland X-Ray licensed Dental Assistant to work in its pediatric dental practices located in Damascus, MD (Tue, Wed, Fri) and Frederick, MD (Thur). Working days are Tue 8-5pm, Wed 10-6pm, Thur 8-5pm, Fri 8-3pm and 1 saturday a month 8-12noon. Summer hours are Tue-Fri 7-3pm until August 19th. Mondays would be either Frederick Location or in Hospital as required. Hiring either Part-time or Full-time. The practice is doctor owned and is dedicated to our mission of raising the standard of children's oral healthcare! We are looking for a someone who shares our values and is as passionate about helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral health! Job Duties include, but not limited to: Assisting doctor and hygienist during recall appointments Talking with patients and parents to assure a positive visit to our office Entering thorough notes into the computer and mastering the software (Opendental) Assisting doctor during sedations and operative procedures in office and Hospital Sterilization, cleaning instruments, tray set up Communicating with parents and patients to ensure a smooth Willing to learn frontdesk duties and work frontdesk as per business needs Necessary Qualifications/Skills: Maryland Dental Radiology Licensure or willing to take course and obtain while working Though training is involved, must have prior dental assisting experience Pass thorough background check for Hospital accreditation. Able to reliably commute to both Damascus and Frederick locations.
