Front Desk Receptionist - Orthodontic Office About Us: We are a family-owned orthodontic practice operated by a dedicated brother-and-sister team. Our mission is to provide exceptional orthodontic care in a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment. Position: Front Desk Receptionist/Insurance & Treatment Coordinator Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet patients with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcome from the moment they enter our office. Phone Management: Answer incoming calls, assist with patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar. New Patient Intake: Process new patient paperwork, create patient accounts, and ensure all information is accurate and complete. Treatment Coordination: Welcome new patients, assist with the consultation process, present recommended treatment plans, explain financial arrangements, discuss payment options, and help patients begin treatment with confidence. Insurance Coordination: Verify orthodontic insurance benefits, explain coverage to patients, submit necessary information, and ensure benefits are accurately applied. Financial Coordination: Prepare financial arrangements, collect payments, process transactions, and maintain accurate patient account records. Scheduling: Coordinate appointments efficiently to optimize the doctor's schedule while providing exceptional patient service. Patient Communication: Follow up with pending treatment patients, answer questions regarding treatment and financial options, and help convert consultations into starts. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the doctors and clinical team to maintain a smooth workflow and provide an outstanding patient experience. Qualifications: Previous experience in a customer-facing role (experience in dental/medical offices is a plus). Previous experience in sales of a product or service. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software.
