Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms before each procedure and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Sterilize instruments and follow OSHA and infection control protocols. Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, implant dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. Take high-quality digital dental radiographs ( New Jersey X-ray license required ). Capture intraoral photographs and digital scans (training provided if needed). Fabricate temporary restorations and perform expanded functions when qualified. Record accurate clinical notes and maintain electronic patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment procedures. Monitor clinical inventory and help keep operatories fully stocked and organized. Support the front office when needed to provide a seamless patient experience. Qualifications Current New Jersey Dental Radiologic Technologist (X-ray) License required. Previous dental assisting experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable learning and using digital technology and practice management software. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
