Dental Assistant (Experienced Only) - BBDC DENTAL PC - River Vale, NJ

Our new dental office in River Vale, NJ, is opening Summer 2026, and we are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The position will start with training at our Montvale, NJ office and transition to River Vale upon its opening. ** This position is only for the Dental Assistant who has a dental assisting experience. Salary will be determined based on the level of experience.** The position is full-time, with hours : from 9 AM to 6 PM weekdays (Weekends OFF ) Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medical coding. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op care. Manage appointments and assist with front desk duties. Use four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency. Follow infection control and aseptic procedures. Assist with prosthodontic procedures. Stay updated on medical terminology for effective communication. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, and coding is a plus. Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health systems is advantageous. Strong understanding of infection control practices. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.
