Dental Assistant - Stone Oak Pediatric Dentistry - San Antonio, TX

We are looking to hire a licensed Registered Dental Assistant. This position requires someone who is skilled in assisting the dentist during procedures, has experience working with pediatric patients, is familiar with Dentrix software, can manage dental records, conduct patient assessments, and take X-rays. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental X-rays - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist or hygienist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Maintain and update patient medical documentation - Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs Skills: - Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and procedures - Familiarity with medical records management systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities - Ability to work well in a team environment - Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and interpreting medical imaging results Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount On-the-job training Paid sick time Paid time off Safety equipment provided License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Required) Work Location: In person
