Seeking a Dental Assistant for our growing Orange, CA practice

Our dental practice (located in the city of Orange) is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant (preference given to candidates with RDA license) for an opportunity to join our dedicated team!

ABOUT OUR OFFICE:

• We are a small, well-established family dental practice that focuses on high-quality patient care
• We are in-network with most PPO insurances
  
• We see patients Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 5:00pm (with an hour for lunch)

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

• Provide chairside assisting to the doctor
• Take and record digital X-rays
• Fabricate accurate temporary crowns and bridges
• Place retraction cords
• Take patient impressions
• Perform coronal polishing procedures
• Operatory set-up and clean
• Maintain inventory and order supplies
• Instrument maintenance and sterilization

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A STRONG CANDIDATE:

• Strong communication skills with the doctor, other staff, and patients
• Detail-oriented, organized and efficient in completing tasks around the office
• Experience assisting with restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges), root canals, extractions, implants (surgical placement and abutment/crown fabrication), and clear aligners
• Willing to be a team-player and work with other staff to ensure patient-care is never compromised
