Responsibilities Sterilize and prepare all dental instruments and equipment according to OSHA, CDC, and infection control guidelines. Maintain sterilization equipment and ensure it is functioning properly according to manufacturer recommendations. Prepare treatment rooms for patient care and assist with operatory turnover throughout the day. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment. Properly dispose of biohazardous materials. Take dental radiographs as needed or be willing to obtain the required certification. Assist hygienists and doctors as needed to support efficient patient care. Follow all office policies, safety procedures, attendance expectations, and compliance requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Ability to work with patients of all ages in a professional and compassionate manner. Dental experience is preferred but not required.
