Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Olney, MD
Lagos Dental Centre, a new dental practice opening in Olney, MD, is hiring a Dental Assistant to join our founding team. We offer comprehensive and implant dentistry in a modern, technology-driven office. Responsibilities Assist dentist with restorative, cosmetic, implant, and comprehensive dental procedures Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms per infection control standards Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral scans Chairside dental assisting during exams and procedures Educate patients on treatment plans and oral hygiene Maintain clinical supplies and inventory Support front-of-house and clinical workflow as a founding team member Qualifications Dental Assistant certified (required) 2+ year of dental assisting experience (3-5 yrs) preferred; new grads with strong fundamentals and a desire to learn are welcome to apply Experience with digital radiography and intraoral scanners a plus Experience with implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, or Invisalign a plus EFDA certification a plus Strong communication skills and patient-focused attitude Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment Benefits Opportunity for growth into Lead Assistant or Clinical Coordinator role as practice expands Founding team member of a new practice Modern equipment and technology-driven office Why Lagos Dental Centre As a founding team member, you'll help shape the culture and systems of a brand-new practice from day one â with real room to grow as we expand our team and patient base.
