Carry out a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and preventive care. Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient histories, treatment plans, and medical documentation accurately. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive measures, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness. Manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring timely and comfortable care delivery. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care. Maintain compliance with health education standards, infection control protocols, and safety regulations such as basic life support (BLS) and CPR certifications. Qualifications Valid dental license to practice as a General Dentist in the respective jurisdiction. Proven experience in general dentistry with clinic experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice and diagnostic radiology techniques. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient medical documentation and electronic health records management. Critical care experience or acute care background is advantageous for managing complex cases. Strong client communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically. Additional skills such as blood sampling, patient condition reporting, manual handling, plastic surgery knowledge, or surgery experience are considered valuable assets.
