Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry, with proficiency in dental procedures, patient care, and dental office systems. This role offers an opportunity to support high-quality patient experiences while working in a fast-paced, technology-driven practice committed to excellence. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures including prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization and cleanliness according to HIPAA and OSHA standards. Take and record vital signs and medical history to support accurate patient assessment and treatment planning. Manage electronic health records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring precise documentation of medical and dental records. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and procedural explanations using appropriate dental terminology. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and assisting the dental receptionist with patient check-in/out processes. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure proper storage of medications and materials used in various dental specialties including orthodontics and prosthodontics.
