You'll be a key part of delivering exceptional care while keeping our clinical team running efficiently. Clinical Responsibilities Assist the doctor chairside during a wide variety of procedures including: Emergency treatment Comprehensive exams Fillings and restorative dentistry Crowns and bridges Root canal therapy Extractions Implant procedures Dentures and removable prosthetics Cosmetic procedures Impressions, temporaries, and digital scans Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures. Take high-quality digital radiographs in accordance with state regulations. Capture intraoral photos and assist with digital imaging. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix. Sterilize instruments and maintain operatories following OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines. Complete weekly spore testing and quarterly waterline maintenance. Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and fully stocked. Patient Care Responsibilities Our assistants don't just assistâthey help create an amazing patient experience. You'll: Welcome and comfort patients during their visit. Explain procedures in a friendly, reassuring manner. Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education. Build trust and lasting relationships with patients. Help patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. Treatment Presentation & Financial Support We're looking for assistants who enjoy educating patientsânot selling dentistry. You'll help: Present recommended treatment plans with confidence and compassion. Explain procedures in a way patients understand. Answer basic treatment questions. Review financing and payment options when appropriate. Encourage patients to move forward with the treatment they need. Support case acceptance through outstanding communication and educationWhat We're looking for someone who is: Positive and upbeat Reliable and punctual Self-motivated A strong multitasker Calm under pressure Detail-oriented Compassionate and patient-focused Coachable and eager to grow A team player who enjoys helping others succeed Passionate about delivering five-star customer service Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent dental assisting experience Current CPR/BLS Certification Ability to expose digital radiographs Experience with Dentrix preferred Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Schedule Our offices serve patients when they need us most.
