We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in various areas of dentistry, including general dentistry, and will be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office and assisting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment. Collaborate with the dental team to improve office systems and enhance patient experiences. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. Knowledge of infection control practices and procedures. Familiarity with dental software systems, such as Eaglesoft, is a plus. Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
