Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist the dentist during various procedures by handing instruments, managing dental materials, and maintaining a clear field of operation. Manage patient records efficiently using Dentrix to ensure accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and medical coding. Provide chairside assistance ensuring aseptic technique is maintained at all times. Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout appointments to promote a positive experience. Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and managing medical documentation with accuracy. Acquire and maintain an understanding of dental terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with team members and patients. Experience Prior experience working in a dental office environment is required. Familiarity with technology in general and a willingness to learn the systems utilized in the office.
