Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, manage the check-in process, and update digital health history records. Schedule appointments efficiently to maximize daily production targets and minimize provider downtime. Verify insurance benefits for upcoming procedures, submit claims, and follow up on outstanding claims and prior authorizations. Collect copayments , deductibles, and outstanding balances from patients at the time of service. Answer multi-line phones to address patient inquiries and confirm appointments. Maintain office cleanliness in the reception area and manage front desk administrative supplies. Experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification Experience: Minimum of 1 year of dental front office experience Software Skills: High proficiency with dental practice management software Dental Knowledge: Strong understanding of general dental terminology, ADA codes, and treatment sequencing Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a compassionate bedside manner Compliance: Strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy laws Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
