Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide personalized oral health education to patients, emphasizing proper brushing, flossing techniques, and preventive care strategies. Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with precision and confidence. Ensure all patient records are accurately maintained in compliance with privacy regulations and practice protocols. Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory environment to uphold infection control standards. Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care plans to promote ongoing oral health maintenance. Skills Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations. Exceptional communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members. Strong attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping, radiograph processing, and infection control procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of current dental hygiene techniques, tools, and best practices for patient care. Proficiency with dental software systems for scheduling, documentation, and digital imaging. A proactive approach to patient comfort, safety, and overall experience.
