Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Spanish Fork, UT
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, Dental Hygienist to join our team Fridays from 8:00-3:00! The ideal candidate is passionate about providing great preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient. Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing. Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays). Assess patientsâ oral health and document findings. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as needed. Assist the dentist by identifying conditions requiring further evaluation or treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes. Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA guidelines. Ensure patient comfort while providing compassionate, high-quality care. Collaborate with the dental team to deliver an outstanding patient experience. Qualifications: Current state Dental Hygienist license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not required Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
