Responsibilities: Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing for patients of all ages Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and screenings Take and review dental X-rays in compliance with safety and procedural standards Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive practices Document patient records accurately and update medical/dental histories Collaborate with the dentist to develop and communicate individualized patient treatment plans Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA guidelines Requirements: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Utah Current CPR/BLS certification Experience with dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis and periodontal therapy Familiarity with dental practice management software preferred Strong communication and patient education skills Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team-focused attitude Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule About Us: Simply Smiles Dental LLC is a trusted dental practice serving the West Valley City, UT community with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
