Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Springfield, MA

We are looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office. Verify all insurance eligibilities. Familiarity with discussing treatment plans and costs with patients. Answer phones, voicemails, book appointments, and confirm schedules. Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable. Being organized and ability to follow up on requests by patients, dentist and insurances is essential. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries Maintain office cleanliness by wiping pens, chairs, countertops (monitoring all touched by pts, including bathrooms) Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing. Perform tasks as assigned by the Lead assistant/Office Manager Skills Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role in a dental office. Proficiency in using dental management software - Dentrix. Team player Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers) Professional attitude and appearance Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service attitude Minimum 2 years front desk experience in a dental office Bilingual - Spanish and English preferred Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have working in a dental office?
